Ancestry Ethnicity Estimate

I've always been interested in history, especially when finding out where my family came from. Ancestry.com have a DNA test where you send some of you saliva to them in the UK and they work out an estimate on where you are from.
I identify myself as a New Zealand European as my ancestors travelled here to New Zealand/Aotearoa by boat.
What I have discovered which I find both surprising and interesting is eight regions of the world my ancestors are from, so far dating back to the 1700s.
Most of my DNA is European, 36% is Great Britain which includes England, Scotland and Wales. This also includes 33% in Ireland/Scotland/Wales and 24% Europe West which includes Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
According to my DNA I have a estimate of 3% Scandinavian which includes Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
I'm not sure 100% how they work this out but I apparently have just over 1% of Caucasus which includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey, I also have just over 15 of Finland, Russia, Tongan and Samoan and only 1% of South Asian which includes India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Other regions that Ancestry DNA include are the Africa Southeastern Bantu, Africa North, Africa South-Central Hunter-Gatherers, Benin/Togo, Cameroon/Congo, Ivory Coast/Ghana, Mali, Nigeria and Senegal. Asia Central, Asia East and Asia South.
Europe also includes Great Britain (East Midlands, West Midlands, North West England, Yorkshire, Pennines, North Wales, South Wales, West Midlands, Devon, Cornwall, East Anglia, Essex, South East England, Northern England). Ireland/Scotland/Wales (Ulster, Ireland, Derry, Inishowen, Donegal East, Donegal Southwest, North Midlands, Ulster East, Connemara, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, North Connacht, Munster, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Southern Ireland, West Cork, West Kerry, Scotland, Central Scotland, Northeast Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Eastern Nova Scotia).
Scandinavia includes Southern Sweden (Gotaland, Svealand, Western Gotaland, Eastern Norway, Western Svealand) Western Norway (Hordaland, Rogaland, Vest-Agder, Serlandet, Vestlandet) Central Norway (Hedmark, Akershus, Trondelag) Eastern Norway (Buskerud, Oppland, Ostlandet, Sor-Trondelag, Vestlandet) Europe East (Northeast Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania) Europe West (Germany, Midwestern United States, Alsace-Lorraine, North Dakota, Baden-Wurttemburg, Hassen, Kansas, Nebraska, Northwest Germany, Netherlands, Midwest, Saxony, Iowa, Illinois) Netherlands, Belgium and Luembourg (Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Netherlands, Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Western Germany) Europe South (Greece, Turkey, Albania, Sicily, Calabria, Southern Italy, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, Molise, Lazio, Puglia, Salerno, Umbria, Abruzzo, Lazzio) Northern Italy, Iberian Peninsula, European Jewish (Western and Central Europe, Eastern Europe) Finland/Northwest Russia (Lakeland, Lapland, Pohjanmaa, Western Finland and Oulu) America (New Mexican, Jalisco, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Western Mexico, Central Mexico, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, , Northwest Mexico, Southern California Coast, Northeastern Mexico, South Texas, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, South Texas, Northern Tamaulipas, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Nicaragua, , Costa Rica, Central America) Pacific Islander (Melanesia, Polynesia, Hawai'i, Tonga, Samoa) West Asia (Caucasus, Armenians) Middle East (Syrian-Lebanese).
All together that is 150 regions.
